The possibilities to explore new worlds from a different cultural standpoint, is what excites me. I don't disagree that this game doesn't show me anything unique from a gameplay perspective, but what I DO see is the potential of a whole new cultural perspective that can be intertwined into their game stories and hopefully in the gaming mechanics in the future. They need to do the tried and true formulas first, secure the financial groundwork, and let loose into their own creativity. Gaming is an expensive venture, and for a AAA game industry at it's infancy, risks are not going to be taken straight from the starting line. If Chinese AAA game developments are in it's infancy, would it not make sense that they would first tread the same paths of released games before they can feel comfortable by developing their own unique style?
